Executive Edition Cyber-Hummer: new era for the Hummer H1!

The new GMC HummerEV is undoubtedly a monster, but it does not come close to the cult status of the “real” Hummer H1. And this is exactly where North American Electric Vehicles (NAEV) comes in, which recently introduced an electric version of the H1. Curtain up for the “Executive Edition Cyber Hummer"! It has an aluminum body and 20-inch rims with ultra-fat 37-inch off-road tires. NAEV hasn't revealed many details about the changes yet, but in the pictures and in the short video, the electric mod is equipped with LED headlights at the front and rear, additional lighting and a new front apron.

Executive Edition Cyber Hummer

The interior of the classic is still spartan and features a Momo sports steering wheel and a 15,1-inch display. However, according to the tuner's website, the SUV will also have a new sound system, vegan leather and space for up to six people. In terms of performance, the Cyber Hummer impresses with an all-wheel drive that is powered by two electric motors and generates an incredible 1.000 hp (746 kW). The tuner claims that the Hummer can accelerate from 2,5 to 0 km/h in just 100 seconds. The energy supply is provided by a "Level 3 Tesla battery“, which enables a range of up to 300 miles (483 km).

NACS and CCS charging options

The Cyber-Hummer supports both NACS and CCS charging and is equipped with a regenerative braking system from Tesla. However, further information on the conversion is rather scarce so far. According to various social media postings, the electric mod has a modern, fully adjustable independent suspension and a ground clearance of an impressive 38 cm. There is also a special off-road traction program on board. Production of the Executive Edition Cyber-Hummer is scheduled to start this summer, with a starting price of $139.900.

The company is also planning cheaper versions: the Baja for around $98.900 and the Commander for around $119.900. The Baja will have 300 hp (224 kW) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in five seconds. The Commander will double the power to 600 hp (447 kW) and reach highway speed in just 3,5 seconds. Although many questions remain unanswered, the company is already accepting reservations for a deposit of $300.
