Facelift & Tonka Style - Wald International Mercedes G-Class!

The Japanese tuner Forest international has for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class W463 (built by 1990-2018) two new tuning options ready. On one side, the W463 model can be visually connected to the successor W463A (Model maintenance - since 2018) and apparently put a Tonka style on top on the other side. But first we come to the upgrade to the optics of the W463A successor. With an extensive body kit, Wald International ensures that the "old" Mercedes-Benz G-Class looks very similar to the current AMG G63. As always, the body kit kit is known as the "Black Bison" and installed on the original attachment points on vehicles from 2013 to 2018. The body is widened by 50 mm on each side and there is also the popular Panamericana grille for the front. It is one of the most characteristic features of today's high-end AMG models and should therefore not be missing.

significant increase in the G-Class

There is also a new bumper with larger air intakes and built-in LED daytime running lights and a new apron with an aggressive diffuser is installed at the rear. For more illumination at night, there is an optional roof attachment with additional LED lights and an additional roof spoiler is also available. And even a new bonnet with attached power dome and air openings on the left and right can be ordered. And even the typical G63 sports exhaust system with side pipes (3 pieces) is part of the extensive Black Bison aerodynamic kit. The external changes are rounded off by new 10,5 x 24 inch "Illima Forged" rims from our own production with Y-spoke design. They can either be fitted with road tires or, as on the exhibition vehicle, with powerful off-road tires. For this purpose, the photo vehicle received a lift that is not known to us, and we also do not know the origin of the new headlights and taillights in the style of the current model. It is highly likely that these are OEM Mercedes components.

even fatter - Black Bison Edition 2

And as already mentioned, the Japanese tuner apparently also has an even more powerful variant at the start. On the significantly higher vehicle, which in our opinion is not the limited G 500 4 × 4², there is a variant with significantly wider tires and fender flares with exposed screw connections all around. The Japanese tuner named this version in a post on Instagram "Black Bison edition 2". However, there is currently no further information. The rest of the vehicle corresponds to the "normal“Black Bison Kit. If we receive timely information on further changes for the W463 from Mercedes, there is of course an update for this report.
