More horsepower and more torque ... If you drive in for a long time and the same vehicle then comes to almost everyone this wish sooner or later. It hardly matters from now on with a 1.2tdi Polo or owns a big supercharged V8. No matter how much power you have available as standard, it is almost a natural behavior to wish for more at some point - at least if you are only even rudimentarily interested in tuning. The owner of this noble Mercedes S-Class (type W221) with 320CDI engine did not seem to have any different and so the upper class sedan had to endure not only many optical changes but also a full increase in performance by means of chip tuning.
And what could be more obvious than to look after the Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance team with this task! After all, we already know performance increases on vehicles from pretty much every vehicle category from Mcchip and of course that is no longer a secret in the catchment area of the tuner. Mcchip has currently presented the chipped S-Class on its website and of course we have to show it to you. The original 235HP / 540Nm became a whopping 278HP / 612Nm after the revision and they will certainly ensure that drivers of the same type, but with series performance, will look amazed when they have to let the Mcchip S-Class go.
In addition, owners of the facelifted S 350 CDI variant with 258PS & 620NM torque should not really have much fun in a possible duel. The tuner did not post much more details than the result of the increase in performance, and nothing was written about the extensive optical changes, but of course that does not stop us from presenting the S-Class on tuningblog.eu. What we have been able to find out and have recognized ourselves, we provide you with a summary below as usual.

These are the known changes to the series:
- Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
- darkened / tinted windows
- black grille
- approx. 20 inch large aluminum wheels (possibly MAE)
- AMG Line package all around
- Performance increase to 278PS / 612Nm (standard output ex works 235PS / 540Nm - not measured) - (chip tuning)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (tailpipes in AMG optics)
