Curtain up for this wonderful one-off Ferrari 330 LMB replica. A dreamlike and particularly faithful replica of Bell Sport & Classic from the UK. The vehicle is a one-time project based on a Ferrari 330 GT 2 + 2. And it was only created with parts that are true to the original and painstakingly detailed work. Countless components have been manufactured from scratch by Bell Sport & Classic to the original specifications. At that time Ferrari only produced four vehicles as 330 LMB (LMB = Le Mans Berlinetta) as a racing car to take part in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1963. Three of the vehicles were left-hand drive and the fourth was right-hand drive. And of the three 330 LMBs that started in 1963, only one finished the race. And on that fifth place. This makes the original 330 LMB one of the rarest vehicles from Ferrari ever. It is even rarer than the legendary one 250 GTO. And the 330 LMB is even stronger!

Compared to the 250 GTO, the LMB had a more powerful 4,0-liter Colombo V12 engine with 390 hp under the hood, a 20 mm longer wheelbase and a new aluminum body. With the help of Terry Hoyle, who is very familiar with the chassis 4725, which is the original LMB with right-hand drive, the donor vehicle was sent to RS Panels to shorten the chassis. When the car returned to Bell Sport & Classic, it had to dashboard and the door panels new ones are made and also the slices, which headlight covers, the rear Plexiglass pane and much more have been specially developed for the single item.
A total of three years of work went into the country for the project. "Everything is handmade and unique"Said Elliot East, the leader of the 330 LMB project. "It was difficult to use modern restoration techniques to make the LMB as comfortable and roadworthy as possible without distorting its racing character."
390 PS and 406 NM torque
You have the Colombo V12 engine in the course of the conversion to a Dry sump lubrication converted and the displacement from 3,0 to 4,0 liters increased. He has now installed six special carburettors instead of the Weber 42s from the original from 390 HP at 7.000 rpm and 406 NM torque at 6.000 rpm. This roughly corresponds to the key data from real 330 LMP. Basically the engine corresponds to that of the original and only one additional fan is now installed. Since the vehicle is intended more for use on the road, the upgrade was inevitable. Incidentally, the single piece from 2021 does not shift with the four-speed transmission from the original, but with one reconditioned five-speed manual transmission.
This upgrade was also essential for use on the road. And that also applies to the significantly improved (stronger) Starter, which electronic ignition, which electronic fuel pumps etc. The 330 LMB remastering from Bell Sport & Classic is in any case an absolutely unique piece that despite the fact that it is practically suitable for everyday use, it will (hopefully) never be used as a daily driver.
