The currently hottest iron in Ferrari's fire is the 488 GTB for sure. Particularly breathtaking is the Spider, which has been available for over a year now, and which makes it possible to enjoy unfiltered V8 biturbo with its 670 PS and 760 NM torque. Although the open variant 0,4 seconds slower in the sprint from zero to 200 km / h but who cares if you can experience the sound of the Italian for it so spectacular. And by the way, that just means that it's not 8,3 seconds, but 8,7 seconds at 200 km / h 😉 luxury problems! Now, over the course of 2016, tuners like Novitec, DMC or Vos Cars made to it and tailor-made for the 488 some extreme performance increases or extensive body kits. But we would like to present you a metallic gray 488 GTB Spider that has not received all of that and is still unmistakably different. The vehicle was on the timeline of a few days ago TAG Motorsports and has received no further modifications apart from a subtle lowering, a set of new alloy wheels and striking yellow painted calipers.
But it is precisely these three changes that make the 488 so elegant and show that the owner has a certain amount of individuality included. The built-in wheel set is deep concave forged Vossen VPS-302 alloy wheels with a dark gray surface. Although we do not know the dimensions of the rims, we assume that 21 inches were installed at the rear and 20 inches at the front. The tuner achieves the subtle lowering of the 488 by means of high-quality Novitec sport springs and so the new wheels sit perfectly in the wheel arch. A highlight are of course the mentioned yellow painted brake calipers, they give the Spider a touch of color without exaggerating. All around the indicators were colored dark and you have an absolutely spectacular, yet subtly modified, vehicle that does not have to hide from the above-mentioned variants with body kit & Co. If we get more information about other modifications to the 488 GTB, there is of course, as always, an update for this post.
