Design evolution: Ferrari Daytona Shooting Brake tribute!

As we know, the designer works Niels van Roji design at a unique Ferrari Daytona Shooting Brake Tribute. And now a new picture gallery shows more about the planned design with a few new renderings. The drafts allow the builder to decide on the final appearance of the vehicle over the next few months. The company later even manufactures one scale clay model to be able to produce the real one-off piece from hand-formed aluminum body parts. But it is already clear that the look is clearly reminiscent of the original: the unique one Daytona Shooting Brake from the 1970s. The reinterpretation also shows itself with a shark-shaped nose with ocher-colored nose Light bar and at the stern you can see it through glass when looking from above two-part roof (Butterfly side window) and of course the striking rear window of the station wagon silhouette.

Ferrari Daytona Shooting Brake tribute!

The Ferrari Daytona Shooting Brake Hommage should be ready by the end of the year. He allegedly owns the chassis and running gear of a Ferrari 599 with the 6,0 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. The architect Bob Gittleman had commissioned the original Daytona Shooting Brake with a 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB / 4 as the base vehicle. Ferrari importer Luigi Chinetti Jr. sketched the design and the bodybuilder Panther Westwinds in Great Britain did the actual construction. We are excited!
