Will the successor to the Ferrari GTC4Lusso 2+2 be the Purosangue SUV? It seems to be the case. After all, the production of the GTC4Lusso and the GTC4Lusso T has long since stopped and another "practical successor“ is not foreseeable on the part of the Italians. So the automotive designer Afzal Kahn thought, the "GTC4Lusso" must be adopted befitting. And the tuner does that with a vision in the form of one Coach Built Project. What started with a sketch in 2018 has become a one-off with a newly designed Front and some other "special specifications". Afzal Kahn states that he was looking for a four-seater supercar that he could use every day, but with a unique look. And the GTC4Lusso with the chic shooting brake silhouette was definitely suitable for this. The front was apparently a thorn in the side of the tuner. He wasn't at all happy with the front end itself. So Afzal Kahn decided to create his own version that pays homage to Ferrari's past.

Ferrari GTC4 Grand Edition

The most noticeable change between the GTC4 Grand Edition and the standard GTC4Lusso are the front ones fender. They are handmade and the design merges into much smaller ones headlights. At the same time there were significantly larger lateral ones Sprouting. And there were also changes in radiator grill. He got an extra round headlights and in addition, a striking one was built into the apron front splitter. At the presentation a few days ago, Kahn stated that he had expressed his displeasure with regard to the changes from Ferrari Monza SP2 from 2019 and the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa (TR for short) from 1957. The body of the unique is in terms of color Blue with white graphics and yellow calipers held. Also rotate in the wheel arches forged wheels with a diamond-cut finish in 20-inch format at the front and 21-inch at the rear. The rounds are equipped with Continental ContiSportContact 5P tires in the dimensions 255 / 35R20 and 315 / 30R21.

In the press release there was, by the way no information to changes to the powertrain. However, we assume that the Grand Edition has retained the standard 6,3-liter V12 naturally aspirated engine with 690 hp (507 kW) and 697 Nm of torque. In this case, the power is transmitted to all four wheels by means of a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and in only one 3,4 seconds it goes from 0 to 100 km/h. There is one for this Top speed of 335 km / h possible. Unfortunately, we do not currently know whether Kahn Design will keep the vehicle as a special copy or whether there is the possibility of more Grand editions will give. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
