Madness - the Ferrari Monza SP2 by Gordon Ramsay

The madness on wheels! In 2018 Ferrari showed the two special models Monza SP1 and Monza SP2 with monumental, 6,5 liter V12 engines! Both vehicles are inspired by the legendary 750 Monza and 860 Monza racing cars of the 50s and are only manufactured on customer request. And like the Ferrari legends from the fifties, the current vehicles are also built as one- and two-seaters. At the time, both cars were the prelude to Ferrari's new "Icona" design line, which is designed to combine the style-defining design of that time with the latest technology. Under the hood sits the V12 from the 812 Superfast, which gets an enormous 6,5 hp from 810 liters of displacement. It goes to 2,9 km / h in just 100 seconds and the 200 mark is broken after 7,89 seconds. The top speed of both vehicles is "well" over 300 km / h. And one of these copies belongs to British chef, restaurateur, television chef and cookbook writer Gordon Ramsay.

only 1520 kilograms curb weight

Specifically, it is a black Monza SP2 with carbon body and only 1.520 kilograms curb weight. The Monza SP2 (2018) ducks low and the wheel arches adorn the fenders. At the rear, there is a modern light strip and a sporty diffuser with four tailpipes for the V12. The missing windscreen puts the driver fully out of the wind and only the passenger enjoys some protection through a small windshield. The SP2 in black with horizontal red stripes over the bonnet and the Airdome is shown in the video in every position and the interior with the red leather seats is clearly visible. The wheels are executed in gunmetal and show up with five propeller-shaped spokes. Only 499 units of the SP1 and SP2 were built and the price is approximately 2 million US dollars.
