Ferrari now officially has a teaser image from Thoroughbred SUV released. Although actually SUV is not expressed correctly, because in Maranello the Purosangue is called Fuv designated. This is an acronym for "Ferrari Utility Vehicle". This is the first SUV or FUV - or whatever - the sports car brand is now officially no longer a rumour. The photo only shows the front end, the rest remains in the dark for the time being. However, the relationship to the latest models from Maranello is unmistakable. After all, we also know the narrow headlights from the SF90 and the large air openings look a bit like Ferrari Portofino M. This is joined by a narrow grille and the hood is equipped with ribs. With bi-turbo V6 hybrid?
With a high probability BiTurbo V6 hybrid, as the basis of the new front-engine all-wheel drive platform (Front-Mid-Engine Architecture). The system will probably be based on the GTC4 Lusso, which has a front mid-engine, a transaxle transmission and a transversely locked rear wheel drive. However, one should not expect ample ground clearance from the Purosangue, because Ferrari wants it in particular a more athletic behavior achieve that is typical Ferrari DNA.
