Ferrari Roadster Monza SP1 and SP2 from the tuner Novitec!

Never before has the driving experience in a Ferrari street sports car been so close to a Formula 1 racing car as in the two open “Icona” special models Monza SP1 and SP2. These two roadsters, constructed in the “Barchetta” style without a large windshield, are reminiscent of the Ferrari classics 166 MM, 750 Monza and 860 Monza.
NOVITEC makes this experience even more intense: With engine tuning to 621 kW / 844 PS through a tailor-made high-performance exhaust system, which is optionally available with a particularly heat-dissipating 999 fine gold coating, and metal catalysts.
High-tech forged wheels in a combination of 21 and 22 inch diameters, which were specially developed for these one or two-seater roadsters in cooperation with the American manufacturer Vossen, make handling even more agile together with sport springs.
In keeping with the model designation, the pictures show the SP1 refined by NOVITEC in the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza.

The single-seat Ferrari Monza SP1, like its two-seat counterpart SP2, is powered by the most powerful twelve-cylinder in the history of the sports car manufacturer from Maranello. In order to further optimize the performance of the 6,5 liter engine, the engine technicians from NOVITEC, the world-renowned tuner for Ferrari automobiles, developed a high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts. This system elicits 12 kW / 25 HP more peak power from the V34 naturally aspirated engine through a sophisticated exhaust system and reduced exhaust back pressure. At the same time, the maximum torque is increased by 61 Nm. With 621 kW / 844 PS at 8 rpm and 450 Nm torque at 780 tours, the tuned Barchetta is even sportier, reacts even more spontaneously to commands from the accelerator and offers even more pulling power over the entire speed range. This makes the driving experience even more intense with this NOVITEC Performance Package. In addition, the driving performance is further optimized. 7 km / h can be reached from a standing start in just 100 seconds. The top speed is over 100 km / h.

The NOVITEC sports exhaust fits both the SP1 and the SP2 and is optionally available with an exhaust flap control. In this case, a decidedly discreet background noise can be activated at the push of a button. At high engine speeds and with the exhaust flaps open, the driver can enjoy a uniquely intense symphony of power on the valance of the open car, which celebrates the sound of the twelve-cylinder in its entirety. The NOVITEC High Performance exhaust system is optionally available in stainless steel or the particularly light INCONEL, which is also used in Formula 1 for the construction of exhaust systems. In the photos of Monza, the Ferrari SP1 is equipped with the most exclusive variant. In this version, the NOVITEC INCONEL system is completely coated with 999 fine gold. The use of this precious metal, which is not only valuable, but also particularly thermally conductive, optimizes heat protection.

The spectacular look of the Barchetta without a windshield can be made even more extravagant with various NOVITEC wheels. The high-tech forged wheels are produced by the US manufacturer Vossen in a variety of colors and surface variants exclusively for the German tuner. The combination of 21 inch rims at the front and wheels with a 22 inch diameter on the rear axle emphasizes the wedge-shaped look of the open sports car even more. The NOVITEC NF10 wheels shown in these photos with five filigree double spokes and indicated central lock offer outstanding strength. Nevertheless, they are among the lightest examples in the world in these king-size dimensions. By reducing the unsprung masses, this makes a decisive contribution to even more agile driving behavior. The NOVITEC NF10 rim in dimension 10Jx21 for the front axle perfectly fills the available space in the wheel arches with high-performance tires in dimension 275/30 ZR 21. 12.5Jx22 rear wheels with 335/25 ZR 22 tires ensure maximum traction.

NOVITEC sport springs for subtle lowering

The NOVITEC sport springs, which lower both Ferrari Monza SP models, with or without a front lift system, by approx. 35 millimeters, offer a further plus in driving dynamics through a lowered center of gravity and an even more spectacular look. At the customer's request, NOVITEC can also tailor the cockpit to the owner's taste down to the last detail.
