Japanese details on the Italian: Ferrari Roma Tailor Made!

If you don't want an off-the-shelf Ferrari, you can get a one-off from the Tailor made program build. The best example is this Ferrari Roma, which is inspired by Japanese elements. The vehicle was developed in cooperation with Evan Orensten and Josh Rubin (Founder of the US publication Cool Hunting) built, which at the time of the project were busy with traditional Japanese craftsmanship, which can now be seen in the Roma. He is of traditional Japanese elements and materials inspires and convinces with a Exterior painting in a strong blue (Indigo Metal), which is reminiscent of traditional Japanese indigo colors. And the shade is also reflected in the used Sakiori fabric, which was used for the seat covers and the carpets. This special material relies on processed Kimonosthat have been rewoven with a nylon fiber. But that's not all. Because the indigo theme is also on headliner to see.

It continues with hand-woven black ones leather strips on the inner door handles, meant to resemble the handles of katana swords, and in homage to traditional Japanese copper tea caddy one has the Gear levers and the shift gate decorated with metal. And the striking copper color is also used for other details in the Cockpit and as a finish on the Alloy wheels return. The Japan-style tuning is rounded off with a special dedication plaque on the center armrest and on the door sills. Appearing on it is the Kamon symbol, meant to represent the wheel of a ox-drawn carriage, the eight spokes of which are made from the pistons of the Roma's V8 engine. In addition, the number theme is continued with eight crests of waves enclosing the wheel. They symbolize luck, strength and resilience. Incidentally, in terms of technology, it remains a one-off Series.
