Multiple personality: Fiat Multipla with 1.000 hp V8 & widebody!

He's still one of them today ugliest cars ever built. Of the Fiat Multipla is so weird that it has now become a cult object in terms of tuning. Various YouTubers and other influential tuners have already put a copy in the garage to modify it according to all the rules of the art. But the bird shoots a French tuning duo called Vibréquin from which from the multipla (based on the pre-facelift 1998–2004) a Dragstrip Monster with Wide body kit created by W-Autosport, which no one on the quarter mile must fear.

Awesome two-door look!

  • Interior with two-seater configuration (sabelt racing seats)
  • removable steering wheel
  • short shifter
  • Roll cage
  • sports brake system

The vehicle can be admired at the Paris Motor Show 2022. Not only that Abandonment of the rear doors, but also the enormous widening the body, are immediately noticeable. There were roughly angular front and rear fender with integrated operations installed in DTM style to make the vehicle more aerodynamic and sporty. Almost nothing remains of the original form of a Multipla. The rear doors had to give way in favor of the more dynamic silhouette and the blue and yellow one foiling in Michelin style evokes memories of racing. Incidentally, the exact specifications and performance data will only be announced later at the Paris Motor Show 2022. A coilover and a reinforced one Chassis are also an integral part of the project.

now it is finished

  • customized front bumper
  • Bonnet with spoiler
  • massive rear wing
  • Diffuser with transparent fins
  • Wheel set from Work Wheels with Michelin tires etc.

Of course, the standard 1,6-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with a tired 102 hp was far from enough to satisfy the French tuning team. So it was decided to have one V8 compressor to transplant from the Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06, through various modifications to about 1.000 PS should be inflated. Unfortunately, nothing is known to us about the driving performance, but the Multipla should hardly know any opponents on the quarter mile.

Our verdict on the vehicle:

The idea for the project started way back in 2019. After a hugely successful crowdfunding campaign and three years of work, the monster minivan is ready to hit the track. An extremely daring project, which, however, generates a lot of attention and is therefore commendable. A thumbs up from us. If we get more information about the changes to the Fiat Multipla, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
