Finally real - Lumma Mercedes GLE coupe CLR G800

It's been almost 1 year when we got the first virtual drawings from Lumma Mercedes GLE coupe CLR G800 presented. But now there are finally some real pictures of the Über-SUV from Stuttgart with Lumma genes. After the many pictures of the Mercedes GLE "Inferno" of the Russian tuner TopCar, the Lumma variant would almost have been forgotten, but this is impressively prevented just in time. The virtual drawings didn't promise too much and so the GLE is extremely brawny and owes that to a carbon body kit and of course the huge 24 inch alloy wheels. The body kit consists of new bumpers front and rear, front with large air intakes and a spoiler lip and rear with diffuser insert, all around 50mm wider fenders including side slits, a couple of side skirts, a tailgate spoiler, a small roof spoiler and a completely new carbon bonnet.

By the way, anyone who thinks that the name "G800" is the program will unfortunately be disappointed, although the standard 560PS AMG has received an increase in performance to 650PS, but 800PS as one might suspect are not. Nevertheless, the Lumma version is just as powerful as the one equipped with the Bi-Tronik 5 V1 power module G-Power version what an announcement is. The guys around the Lumma team released the "real" CLR G800 the days and we are happy to be able to show you the first pictures. After the extensive tuning cure, which can also be extensively continued in the interior if desired, the GLE is now much more brawny, powerful and dynamic than the production version. If you are thinking of buying a GLE63 AMG in the future or already own one, Lumma Design is definitely an interesting starting point when it comes to differentiating the vehicle from the production model.

With regard to the further changes in the optics or the technology, we have made us smart and can bring the most important details in experience. These are the known changes to the series:

  • Name: Lumma CLR G800
  • subtle lowering (sport springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension - more information is not available)
  • Chiptuning Power Kit to increase performance on 650PS (series 585 PS)
  • 24 Inch Lumma RS CLR Rims in Matte Black (with 285 / 30 R24 tires)

  • Sport rear silencer with four black 100mm tailpipes
  • optional details: chrome lettering, key rings, covers etc.
  • Lumma Design Carbon Wide Body Kit (new bumpers with large air intakes, front spoiler lip, new widened front and rear fenders with side slits 50 millimeters wider, side skirts, tailgate spoiler, diffuser insert, roof spoiler, bonnet)
  • Optional details for the interior: seats with decorative stitching, Lumma floor mats, fine woods, carbon, aluminum, full leather, etc.
  • Lumma emblem behind

As far as we know it is with the pictured vehicle to a diesel version!

Lumma CLR G800 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG

As already mentioned above, the body kit naturally also fits the smaller GLE450 AMG and Lumma has a suitable performance upgrade for this too. While the Stuttgart-based company delivers 367 PS & 520 Nm of torque ex works, the Lumma V6 variant has a whopping 449 PS and thus 87 PS more! After all, this is an increase in performance to the level of the larger GLE 500 4MATIC Coupé with M 278 DE 46 AL V8 BiTurbo. The rest of the vehicle is modified identically to the GLE63 shown above, only the color accents are set differently here!
