Single piece in Goodwood: Ford Eagle Squadron Mustang GT

Ford got on time for Goodwood Festival of Speed (from 12.07.2018) a spectacular Ford Mustang GT single piece completed. State-of-the-art 700 PS with V8 Turbo has put the Ford Performance department in the Ponycar. Name of the whole: Ford Eagle Squadron Mustang GT! And visually, the Eagle Squadron is an absolute highlight. All around there is a hefty carbon widebody kit with huge flared fenders (riveted extensions) as well as lots of wings all around. There is also a front splitter including sidewings on the right and left and approaches for the side skirts have been donated to the Eagle Squadron.

There are already known to us Mustang RTR grille Including LED Vent Lights which in combination with the ventilated bonnet of the 2018er model rounds off the front powerfully and strikingly. And at the rear, a lot has happened and so comes the Eagle Suqadron with a fixed rear spoiler, wing right and left of the rear apron and a large diffuser with integrated sports exhaust system. And so that the 700 PS also arrive on the street you built a special one Suspension for a lowering and of course a new wheelset.

Visually striking, however, is especially the elaborate design of the GT in Tarnfleck green with yellow applications showing the blue-red cockade of the Royal Air Force (RAF) on the hood. Like the rest of the vehicle, the design was also developed in cooperation with the drift world champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. who is also owner of RTR Vehicles. And of course there is also a special interior. The Squadron comes with a lot of carbon, leather and hints that it is unique. Of the Ford Eagle Squadron Mustang GT Incidentally, it was created in honor of American fighter pilots during the 2. Served in the RAF and were deployed with Spitfires, P-47 Thunderbolts and P-51 Mustangs.

And what would have been more obvious than to organize a photo shoot with corresponding fighter planes in Beachy Head? That's exactly what Ford has done and is thus vigorously stirring the drum for the upcoming auction (26 July) of the single piece for a good cause. More details are not available for the 2018 Eagle Squadron Mustang GT at the moment. If we receive timely information about us previously unknown changes, there is, of course, as always, an update for this report.
