1968 Ford F-100 "GT-100" with "Gulf" paintwork and V8!

The Painting in "Gulf" style is one of the most legendary motorsport designs of all time. Originally found on the Ford GT40, the design is increasingly taking up, and not just for vehicles that have a sporty image. Among other things, we already have one Wuling Hongguang Mini EV discovered with a design that is based heavily on the legendary motif. But pickups that are thought of as workhorses are also available with the color scheme that is highly recognizable. Like this Ford F-100 from 1968, which we are introducing to you today, and the one from the tuning company Pacific muscle cars was built three years ago. A new owner is currently being sought for the truck because it is on the Bring A Trailer auction platform.

Cool truck with modifications!

Of course, the exterior is from the legendary Gulf paint dominates, but there are also many unusual details on the vehicle, such as the retractable door handles in Land Rover style, vents on the bonnet that come from a '67 Mustang or LED headlights as -tail lights. Even the filler cap is a custom-made product. It is located on the loading area. Furthermore, the front part of the ladder frame was replaced, thread springs attached to all four corners and one Power Steering installed.

Further delaying the eye-catcher is extremely acceptable since you can give it a new one Bremsanlage with a performance brake cylinder and four brake discs from Wilwood indulged. The chosen wheel / tire combination is extremely unusual, because it starts with the tuning crew appearing modern Five-spoke alloy wheels with a double spoke design and a silver finish. The 20-inch models would also look good on a modern Mercedes or BMW. Extremely wide tires were put on, which on the front axle the format 255 / 40 R20 have, and on the rear axle with the measure 315 / 35 R20 shine. From our point of view, the design of the pickup is successful and you can definitely be seen with it at a US car meeting.

Custom interior with modern features!

As soon as you get the electrically extending door handles if you press it to open the doors, you realize that you are not getting into a commercial vehicle. High quality and convenient Managerthat flatters the seats, one Custom center console, which have a Automatic climate control by Vintage Air Kenwood audio system and electric windows and Central locking system with remote control ensure a luxurious ambience. As retaining digital instruments from Dakota Digital, a Steering wheel with wooden wreath and orange contrasting stitching on the black leather seats. A small but fine detail is also that Gulf Oil gear stickthat harmonizes perfectly with the exterior design.

Coyote-V8 gives you goose bumps

The 5 liter V8 naturally aspirated gasoline engine from the Coyote series, which was taken from a Mustang GT, goes wonderfully with this truck from our point of view. Unfortunately, we do not know whether the engine is standard or whether it has been modified and increased in performance. What is unusual is the fact that an antiquated one Four-stage automatic is responsible for the power transmission to the rear wheels. Nevertheless, the pickup should be in his area on the quarter mile and the nice ones for some opponents LED taillights demonstrate.
