Modified Ford Fiesta Mk7 ST as a track tool with a crazy 521 BHP!

Tuned Ford models are rather the exception in this country, but they are often found in Great Britain. There, the brand with the blue oval is number one when it comes to tuned vehicles. Today we introduce you to a heavily modified seventh generation Fiesta that has been converted into a true track tool by its owner Craig Howard.

Even a fiesta can be bad!

With its SITECH foiling from Evolution Wraps, as well as the massive rear wing from MGC, the small car makes an impressive impression. A Zunsport grille, TRC front splitter as well as a powerful rear diffuser from Maxton Design give the small Ford the look of a seasoned WRC vehicle. Side skirts and rear flaps are also part of the repertoire, as are BC Racing BR-thread springswhich with Poly bushes are fully equipped.

When choosing the rims, the tuner opted for 7×15-inch Speedline 2118 alloy rims when the Fiesta is driven on the road, and 7×15-inch Team Dynamics rims when the asphalt of a circuit is under the wheels is taken. For everyday use, the Fiesta rolls on 2/195 R50 Nankang NS-15 tires. When used on the racetrack, however, tires from Yokohama with the model name A048 are fitted, also in 195/50 R15. In order to bring the vehicle to a safe standstill in all situations, the Brakes slightly revised and PBS Pro RaceBrake pads installed. Otherwise, the brakes remained series.

Interior is trimmed for racing!

After opening the doors, the pilot and co-pilot will be greeted by OMP TRS-E-bucket seats received via TRS six-pointHarness belts feature. A detachable Sport steering wheel from OMP is also in the cockpit, as is a SITECH/M-Tech-Engineeringracing gear knob with Short shift by SiCo Developments. A telematics display from Syvec's Toucan sits enthroned to the left of the steering wheel and transmits all important data to the driver in a matter of seconds. The installation of one is almost a matter of course for such a track tool Roll cage and the removal of the rear bench seat.

521 BHP for a Hallelujah

The 1,6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine has been brought to an insane 521 BHP and 465 Newton meters of maximum torque with the help of various modifications. In order to be able to transmit the power without accidents, a Stage 3Clutch from Competition Clutch and a new one Dual Mass Flywheel installed. According to our information, the approx. 520 hp only fall over the front axle. Traction problems are therefore inevitable. Six manual gears are waiting to be engaged by the pilot, but we have no information about the performance and the top speed.

Our conclusion:

  • A crazy project that the British tuner Craig Howard has put on the wheels. Small, light and more powerful than many a sports car, the Fiesta should hardly know any opponents on the race track and the motorway. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
