760hp Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 10th Anniversary Edition

Announced at the beginning of April and now it's finally done! Curtain up for that Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 10th Anniversary Edition from the tuner RTR Vehicles. A fire chair with insane 760 PS and 908 NM torque, which can easily take on the Mustang top model as the Shelby GT500. And this Mustang didn't just come about. American drift star Vaughn Gittin Jr. built this Pony car to celebrate the upcoming 10-year company anniversary of RTR. RTR cooperated with the team from Lebanon Ford Performance from Lebanon in Ohio (USA) and brings the special version of the Mustang RTR onto the road exactly 10 times as "Spec 5 10th Anniversary Edition". With costs of a good 50.000 dollars, the conversion is quite expensive. And of course the base vehicle is NOT included.

Five-liter V8 with 760 hp under the hood

The first step is, of course, the stately upgrade of the five-liter V8 with factory 466 hp. RTR installed the phase 2 compressor developed in cooperation by Roush and Ford Performance with the nickname Eaton TVS R2650 and also an optimized aluminum charge air cooler, new intake manifold, a high-performance cooler and special chip tuning to combine the new components. The result leads to an increase in performance to a hefty 760 PS and 908 Nm torque and certainly pushes the 10th Anniversary Mustang RTR Spec 5 impressively ahead. However, we are not yet aware of any precise key data on the performance. But they should be almost identical to those of the Shelby GT500. And then of course there is the eye-catching body kit with widely flared Spec 5 fender flares and on the front RTR installs the well-known RTR radiator grille inserts above and below which, in the case of the upper component, are equipped with the distinctive RTR LED auxiliary lights .

A lot has happened at the rear of the Ford Mustang too

There is also an aggressive spoiler lip for the apron and side air deflectors, apron inserts and two air outlets in the bonnet are now included. It continues with large sill swords and the rear receives a matching diffuser from RTR, a spoiler, a special cover between the taillights and side apron attachments. The vehicle is also completely painted in Leadfoot Gray and, in the case of the specimen, contrasted with the pictures with numerous accents in bright Hyper Lime Green on the mirror caps, flaps, spoiler, etc. If you want, you can also order Race Red, Orange Fury, Grabber Blue or the less noticeable Space White as accentuation. Incidentally, the widened wheel arches are now filled with a proper set of wheels. The in-house RTR Aero 7 forged rim with aero ring in the format 9,5 × 20 and 11 × 20 inches, which is equipped with Nitto NT555 G2 slippers in the dimensions 285/30 R20 and 305/30 R20, is installed.

Lowering by means of RTR coilovers

Due to a lowering by means of an RTR coilover kit, modified stabilizers at the front and rear or the specially adapted axle shafts, the chassis setup is rounded off in an extremely sporty way. Incidentally, the changes in the cabin are not quite as extensive. RTR only installed new floor mats, a round gear knob, a few colored details and an edition badge with a consecutive vehicle number on the dashboard. Of course, with the signature of Vaughn Gittin Jr. We currently do not have any more details about the RTR Mustang.
