We already have conversions based on the popular Ford Ranger many seen. And now there is another copy. It is a team vehicle Automotive Performance Group (APG) as a Ford Ranger prorunner attracts a lot of attention. And the photo vehicle is not even a one-off. Because APG now offers the so-called Prorunner set for upgrading the Ranger for $ 11.573. If you want to have the Automotive Performance Group install all changes on site, you will have to pay just under $ 16.000. The conversion kit includes significantly widened wishbones, there are larger and stronger drive shafts and the mounts for the wheels are also optimized. And of course there is a reason. After all, there are powerful beadlock alloy wheels with a maximum of 35 inches (0,89 m) large off-road tires.

Add a new suspension with King Offroad dampers and a maximum of 12,5 inches (approx. 32 cm) of travel and the powerful appearance is guaranteed and the Ranger mutates into a real F-150 competitor. And the changes to the body also contribute to the powerful appearance. For example, there is the massive new aluminum front apron with several KC-Flex LED auxiliary lights, there are large tow hooks and a WARN cable winch is also included. The apron completely replaces the factory component and is wider on both sides compared to the original. And there is a reason for that. The Ranger receives handsome widebody fender flares at the front and rear. They show up in part in the noble visible carbon and provide an overall increase of 25,4 cm in additional vehicle width. That means the VW Amarok or Mercedes X-Class competitor grows by an impressive 12,7 cm on each side. And there is also a lot going on at the rear if desired.

Here, too, the ranger is given a new aluminum apron with LED reflectors and fat towing eyes. Both bumpers come with LED marker lights and thus mark the outer point of the pickup. Finally, a large aluminum carrier is installed on the roof, which also has an LED light bar over the full width of the vehicle and also has additional LED lights on the side. This should definitely ensure the ultimate illumination away from the paved slopes. If you install the complete Prorunner set, the filigree Ranger is transformed into the ultimate off-roader and in view of the extensive changes, the installation costs are - including all components - quite justifiable as we think. If we receive information on further changes in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
