Hard to believe, but apart from the currently always widespread "alleged news" to the new M2 of the G87 generation, there is actually still the current model. And the M2 (F87) doesn’t give the impression of being replaced. Especially not if you equip the potent coupe with a few tuning components. At the latest then the full fascination of 6 years ago will be, when the coupé was presented to the public on the Internet in October 2015, back there. Especially the sheer power of the competition model with the throttled one M4 engine is still a force. But even the factory 410 PS of the M2 Competition are not enough for some. And these are usually potential customers from the tuner G-Power. And the company from Kühbach now has something very special at the start for them. And one on 25 vehicles limited edition as "G Power BMW G2M Coupe".

550 PS and 700 Nm torque

And the tuned M2 impressively shows G-Power's intensive tuning experience with the S55 engine from the M3 and M4. Because the M2 has huge after the revision 550 PS and 700 Nm torque under the hood. And with that one easily surpasses that M2 CS top model. In general, the limited edition dwarfs all versions of the S55 available ex works. This also applies to the 500 hp GTS variant of the M4.

G-Power achieves the increase in performance with the help of some Software adjustments, there were changed Boost pressure pipes, a Crankshaft central screw lock, a Air Filter and also a new one exhaust system are built in. You even have one for the 7-speed DCT Software update for improved transmission characteristics at the start. But that doesn't mean that you can't get the G-Power G2M too manual six-speed gearbox can order. The 550 hp and 750 Newton meters of torque are available for both variants.

3,7 seconds at highway speed

If you let the M2 fly, then according to G-Power it can do it 3,7 seconds at country road speed and reaches a little later Top speed of 300 km / h. And of course you show the power too. However, only on request and quite discreetly. A sporty one is possible Decor pasting for the exterior, there are G-Power emblems front and rear and if you want, you can also install the forged wheels shown here in the Design Hurricane RS with diamond cut finish. This is rounded off with a few optional details in the cabin (Steering wheel, pedals, badge, G2M floor mats etc.) the already very sporty interior.
