Now it is certain! BMW brings the M2 as a "competition" model. Nobody has more power. However, no one costs more ... For well over € 60.000 you get the biturbo in-line six-cylinder of the M3 / M4, 410 PS / 550 NM, a seven-speed double clutch on request, standard 19-inch, compound brakes and various carbon accessories inside. But who needs the competition version when there is the tuner G-Power? After we already had a variant from the guys from Autenzell Have seen 410PS you put down again clearly. For those who can not wait until the launch of the M2 Competition, or which still has too little power, G-POWER now offers a variant with 500 PS. The turbocharged N55 straight-six also delivers maximum torque of 630 Nm.
A full plus of 130 PS & 130 NM compared to the series with 370 PS (272 kW) and in overboost 500 Nm. This time, too, the proven combination of software and hardware optimization is used, which means that G-POWER also uses the performance software V3 here. But this time there is a pressure-optimized downpipe, a new intercooler and modifications to the turbocharger. Among other things, the turbo gets larger compressor and turbine wheels and a CNC-optimized housing. So equipped, it goes to 3,9 km / h in just 100 seconds and the top speed is increased to a significant 310 km / h. So that you can also hear it, G-POWER has installed an exhaust system made of titanium with a dual-mode flap system and four stylish carbon tailpipes with a diameter of 90 millimeters each.
And visually something has also changed because in addition to lowering with G-POWER-G2M-RS coilover kit, G-Power also installed the in-house HURRICANE RR forged wheel set in the dimensions 9 × 20 inches on the front and 10,5 × 20 inches the rear axle.
