Tuner G-Power published an overview of the available performance upgrades for the last Friday BMW M5 and the technically almost identical M8. The basis for the conversion is always the "performance model", which G-Power can convert into six power levels. The specific vehicles from the images are an M5 Performance LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) and the 8 Series Coupe appears to be a pre-facelift vehicle. Both have the S63 V8 engine under the sheet metal and both biturbo V8 receive an identical power boost from G-Power.
The power levels are:
- Level 1: to 700 hp & 850 Nm (625 lb-ft)
- Level 2: to 740 hp & 900 Nm (662 lb-ft)
- Level 3: to 780 hp & 950 Nm (670 lb-ft)
- Level 4: to 820 hp & 1.000 Nm (735 lb-ft)
G-Power Hurricane RS and RR packages
And the packages are also available HURRICANE RS with 840 PS & 1.050 Nm torque as well HURRICANE RR with 900 PS & 1.050 Nm. They are also based on an M5 Competition or the M8 Competition. And G-Power even has the Hurricane RR package for BMW's most powerful production car to date, the M5 CS, on sale. And there are also a lot of optical details. The photo vehicles are fitted with in-house rims, G-Power hood, G-Power emblems, G-Power engine cover, G-Power badge inside, etc. If we get more information about the changes, there will of course be an update for this report.
