800 PS - the Mercedes-Benz G500 4 × 4² by Jon Olsson

After the crazy "George the Rolls" - 810 hp Rolls-Royce Wraith by Jon Olsson Now comes the next big hit with Swedish freestyle skier and alpine skier Jon Olsson. And somehow this project is even crazier than we find! The basis is the over-off-roader Mercedes-Benz G500 4 × 4² with biturbo V8 and portal axles. Already ex works, the exclusive Kraxler is equipped with beadlock wheels (Metal ring is clamped to the rim) in 18-inch format, which is otherwise seen on armored military-G vehicles. And of course there are the extreme portal axes.

They come with a gear set built into the wheel hub, which makes it possible that the drive shaft is not installed in the center of the wheel. The system engages offset upwards, which results in increased ground clearance and does not affect the loads of drive and cardan shafts. Even the differentials and transmissions are thus spared from extraordinary loads. But all that Jon Olsson did not seem to do.

Jon Olsson joined the team of Absolute Motors (2988CL Ridderkerk) entrusted and gave instructions to an even more extreme rebuilding. The result is a variety of additional headlamps both on the front and on the, with a luggage rack (+ spare tire, etc.) provided roof. Totally crazy are the sirens, lights and the intercom in the style of a patrol car on the streets certainly provide a lot of frightened faces.

In addition, there was a massive winch at the front and a significant modification for the V8 engine. From the former 422 PS & 610 Nm torque, a new turbocharger, modified cooling system etc. turned into insane 800 PS and you can hear this through a powerful sounding sports exhaust system. What is noticeable about this vehicle is that the camouflage film that is usually present is missing. But the G-Class did not get away with it entirely without foiling, albeit much more subtle. And the many details such as the clad headlights at the front, the bonnet protected with a grille or the stepladder at the rear of the G-Class make this specimen so spectacular.

And by the upward suction also speaks against a wild test ride in the water and that's what you get to see in the following video. The G500 4 × 4² by Jon Olsson is once again a very spectacular vehicle of the athlete and fits seamlessly into the existing history of its vehicles.

Ps. The part even has a name -> HANS! Named after Olsson's brother ...
