One would like to think that the 421 PS & 530 NM torque in a coupe actually provides adequate propulsion and the desire for more power does not really arise. Actually... Apparently it is not enough for the tuner GME that the current Ford Mustang accelerates from zero to 4,8 km / h in just 100 seconds and only brushes the sails at a top speed of electronically sealed 250 km / h, no it still has to be more! The guys from Schkeuditz (Saxony) have the complete program with more power, more acceleration, better braking, higher safety and more style up their sleeves. In cooperation with the manufacturer of compressor kits - "Edelbrock" - a system was developed for the Mustang's V8 engine that puts the AMI under tremendous pressure.

If you express that in numbers, that means: 705 hp at 7.000 rpm. and a maximum torque of 800 Nm (at 4.500 rpm) which, in combination with a manual six-speed gearbox, makes the Mustang fly from zero to 3,9 km / h in just 100 seconds. And even the 250 km / h are history because GME has electronically raised the limit for the top speed to 280 km / h. So that you can also hear acoustically that no series vehicle is driving up here, a hand-made dual-flow GME flap exhaust system made of stainless steel was installed, which also contributes to the extra power. So that the neighbors do not fall out of bed in the morning, the bandwidth of the sound cancellation can be regulated by remote control (4 different modes) and shows the current state via the screen of the entertainment system. The system also includes electronic back pressure monitoring, which always has the back pressure in mind and, if necessary, automatically opens the doors to prevent engine damage.

But honestly, who closes these flaps already? 😉 And of course a set of new alloy wheels should not be missing. The decision was made in favor of multi-part Schmidt rims in a five-double-spoke design and 21 inch format. So that the Mustang does not stand tall, the integrated height adjustment of the chassis has been adjusted so that the upper edge of the tires sits optimally in the wheel arch. The hardness-adjustable dampers also enable the driving characteristics to be optimized according to the individual wishes of the driver. And since over 700PS also want to be braked, a high-performance brake system with floating and slotted brake discs was installed (allows a stress-free expansion of the disc at high temperatures).

So that the system always gets enough cooling, there was also an optimized brake ventilation. And the aerodynamics have also been revised. GME has installed an Abbes aerodynamics package on the Mustang that makes the difference to the series in exactly the right places. Among other things, it consists of a newly designed diffuser and a fixed rear wing at the rear. The grand piano is available in four design variants and so there should be something for everyone. New side skirts are also included and at the front there was a discreet front spoiler including a front splitter which was set off in red on the presentation vehicle.
