Can you still remember the mighty Jeep Wrangler from tuner GME recall? Elevation by means of OME / Old Man Emu suspension as well as 20 inches Fuel vapor rims with 33 inches Atturo Trail Blade X / T Tires, in combination with some other changes to the body, made the Wrangler an off-road monster with 409 supercharged horsepower. And now GME has taken on another Wrangler. This time there were much more civil modifications that optimize the Wrangler for paved road use. The base was a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 75th Anniversary Edition who left the factory with 284 PS strong V6 petrol engine under the hood. The vehicle received exactly the increase in performance which also got the Wrangler from the beginning of the year.

In other words, GME installs a 1,3-liter GME / Edelbrock compressor, an in-house 3-inch stainless steel exhaust system and individual chip tuning, thus increasing the performance to 409 PS & 485 NM. While you haven't touched the body, the wheelset looks different. In-house two-part forged wheels with five double spokes, each arranged in a V-shape, in a king-size 11 × 22 inch format, turn here from now on. The new rims are fitted with Continental tires in the dimensions 295/35 ZR22 all round. In our opinion, however, the contrast between the rims and the body takes some getting used to. In the end, of course, a matter of taste.

Finally, there were some technical changes in the interior and so installed GME here a completely new infotainment system with high-quality speakers including water-resistant subwoofer in the rear and a Xzent Headunit which allows, for example, a digital DAB radio reception. If we receive timely information on further changes to the Wrangler of GME, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is just ours Feed subscribe to.
