Alone two years was needed to turn this gem of automotive history into a tailor-made one-off. "Golden Era" Bugatti Chiron Super Sport
This year's Montery Car Week in sunny California will certainly celebrate the "Golden Era" Bugatti Chiron. A full engine with 1.600 PS - a behemoth of supercars - has been given a royal touch to commemorate Bugatti's glory days. And the artwork was commissioned by a true Bugatti enthusiast who was mesmerized by the brand's epic history and powerful modern-day 16-cylinder engine. The customer wanted a car that not only drives fast, but also storys told. It was none other than the customer himself who came up with the idea retro chic had. Together with the designers, historical milestones of the brand were defined, which have been considered highlights over the years.
The "Golden Era" is, so to speak, a rolling one Bugatti Museum. In order to present the story accurately, 45 models by hand drawn on the car paint. And considering that only the drawing phase over 400 hours lasted, you get an impression of the attention to detail that has been invested here. Two individual color nuances were even designed: A festive gold shimmer called "Walleye' and a special metallic finish called 'Nocturne Black". Finally, a special technique was developed to transfer the hand-drawn sketches directly to the vehicle paintwork.
An interior that tells stories!
And if you look inside, it's like stepping into a time capsule. From handmade "Golden Era" stitching to handwritten "One-of-One" motifs: Every Bugatti fan will find a piece of history here. And who knows, maybe you'll feel like Ettore Bugatti himself when you get in! Of course, the price tag remains Bugatti's best-kept secret. But anyone who orders such a car does not ask about the price. It's about passion, love for the brand and the memory of a "golden era".
In short, the "Golden Era" Bugatti Chiron is not just a car, it is a car Homage to all models of Bugatti, from past to present, who have made the company what it is today.
