Presented at the beginning of March this year Hamann Motorsport his spectacular widebody Mercedes-Benz GLE63 AMGs Coupé on Hamann Challenge CHHS rims. The Stuttgart-based car has been completely redesigned all around and, with the extensive aerodynamic parts, has an even sportier and significantly more brawny appearance compared to the production vehicle. For Switzerland the team from DS automobile & autowerke is the authorized dealer for all Hamann Motorsport accessories and as you know we have already presented countless vehicles from there. You can assume that as soon as Hamann presents something new, a vehicle with the new accessories will be presented by DS a short time later.
It took a few months longer for the GLE, but yesterday the tuner presented a vehicle that was definitely worth the wait. Most striking difference to Hamann presentation vehicle is of course the built-in Hamann Anniversary Evo wheelset in an estimated 23 inches which, visually in my opinion, fits much better to the GLE than the CHHS variant.

As you can see, a lowering was also installed, because this is the only way the wheels can sit so precisely in the wheel arch. However, we do not know how the GLE was lowered. In addition to the aluminum rims, the aerodynamic kit is of course responsible for the completely changed look. The GLE has become a full nine centimeters wider and you can see that in it. The kit includes a front spoiler, a set of fender flares front & rear, a rear apron lower part including black anodized tailpipe trims and a fixed rear spoiler. On request, there is even a bonnet including power dome and side ventilation slots, which, however, was not installed on this vehicle.
But even without the bonnet, the GLE looks absolutely spectacular and I like it best of all the Hamann GLEs shown so far. Certainly the pure white paint also plays its part here, the vehicle simply looks even bigger and more conspicuous than the dark gray or black one. If we get more information about the modifications to the GLE, there is of course, as always, an update for this post. Update
News from 03.05.2018
Yesterday the team of DS automobiles & auto plants a black Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 63 widebody published on his side and we must also show you this. Again, there were 23 inch big Hamann Anniversary Evo alloy wheels but due to the black livery of the GLE we find this modification a bit more restrained and somehow more appropriate. But in the end, of course, all matter of taste. Have fun with the new pictures!
Maybe there will soon be an update with information and pictures. If this is the case we will of course also put it online and inform you about it.
