Hardcore - BMW Team Study -> Racing BMW M2 F87 Coupe

Undoubtedly, the M2 has become a favorite in the tuning community around the BMW brand since its official presentation. We at tuningblog.eu had hardly had a day since the sales launch when we did not present a modified M2 and also in the year 2017 this goes on at full throttle. For the past 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon showed the Japanese team of BMW Team Study that you can really overdo it with the M2. We already have those Seen a variety of variants, and since the 620PS strong Aulitzky AT620 M2 with S55 engine We were actually of the opinion that nothing will surprise us anymore, but we have to admit that apparently much more is possible. The M2 of the Japanese company stands out particularly by its extreme optics and a highlight is certainly the completely empty interior which is completely converted to racing. Everything that causes weight and comfort is thrown out and immediately finds a red painted roll bar, Recaro racing seats, a fire extinguishing system or a MoTeC Racing speedometer in the sporty Munich coupe place. And so extremely extensive the changes are inside, they are just as extreme outside! Here, there were all-new aerodynamic parts made of carbon and particularly beefy and chic is the ARMA carbon bonnet and the fully customized bumper including 3D design spoiler lip.

Of course, the extremely wide fenders including air vents also contribute to the new outfit. And the rear was not spared either because two rear spoilers were installed here, while one is relatively discreet in the form of a spoiler lip, the other as a fixed and adjustable wing unit is much more extreme. And the newly attached foil does not help to make the M2 more subtle but rather ensures that the last one will turn around after the coupé. The front of the car is foiled in matt black and from the fender the black goes into a tiger look and adorns the rest of the M2. The color of the 19 inch BBS RI-D wheelset matches the roll bar and sits perfectly in the wheel arch thanks to a significant lowering and should make up the last tenth on the racetrack. Unfortunately, we are not aware of any information about a possible increase in performance, but with such an extreme conversion we can assume that significantly more than the standard 370 PS work in the M2. If we get even more information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
