Now it has officially been replaced as the most powerful BMW! The M5 F10 "30 years" I have had for a short time BMW M760Li with 610PS & 800 NM give up. With the M5 "30 Years", BMW celebrated the birthday of the M2014 power limousines in 5 and brought the most powerful version of all time, in limited numbers, onto the market. Only a meager 600 copies of the 300 PS special model were issued. With the 4,4-liter twin-turbo V8, the “normal” M5 already gave the direction, but another 40 hp and 20 Nm of torque were to be added to the birthday model. So there was a whopping 600 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. For the sprint from 0 to 100 km / h only 3,9 seconds pass, but the standard consumption of 9,9 liters was still quite acceptable. At least on paper ... The top speed remained unchanged, however, and so the “M5 30 years” also regulates at 250 km / h or at 305 with the optional M Driver's Package. What was particularly striking about the limited M5 was the striking, exclusive look that BMW Individual contributed. And driving dynamics and comfort components also make the difference.

The basis for the special model was the BMW M5 F10 including Competition Package. The paintwork of the 30th anniversary of the M5 was available in the silk matt color "Frozen Dark Silver metallic“That the elegant lemonade looks perfect. Further details such as the border around the kidneys, the "30 years M5" badge in the fender, the clasps on the door handles or the double tailpipes in black chrome also make the difference. And an exclusive wheel set is also included. 20-inch M-light alloy wheels in a chic two-tone design with 265/35 tires at the front and 295/30 rollers on the drive axle were installed. And exactly this wheelset was apparently a thorn in the side of the owner of this M5 "30 years", he installed a HRE Performance Wheels P204 wheelset in noble satin bronze which looks much better in connection with the matt body than the serie wheels as we find. But not only the wheel set is new, the Vorsteiner carbon front spoiler and the eye-catching spoiler lip on the boot lid, which also comes from Vorsteiner, were retrofitted. And so that you can hear the V8 biturbo roar, there was also an Akrapovic sports exhaust system including carbon tailpipes that perfectly rounds off the rear. If we get more detailed information about the modifications, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report.
