While presented yesterday Shelby widebody Ford Mustang Super Snake is still pure fiction, and still has to pick up the blessing of the executive floor, it looks completely different with the brand new 750PS Shelby Super Snake based on the Ford F-150. It's already a done deal. If the next desert trip is already planned then it is not necessarily the perfect vehicle, but if you want to put your pants on on the road it is the right candidate. So in contrast to the Shelby American Baja 700 a little pseudo-SUV and not really a desert pickup, but what the heck. The manufacturer & tuner from Las Vegas missed the off-road giant, based on the current Ford Raptor, a power boost to 750PS that catapults the pickup into another league. The 5.0 V8 with 385PS is already properly motorized ex works. But as we know, Shelby from Las Vegas likes to add a few more shovels - no matter which Ford model it is. This time they decided on the current F-150 and turned it into the Shelby F-150 Super Snake.

The already very powerful 5.0 V8 engine is equipped with a compressor kit, large intercooler, new injection valves and a roaring Borla sports exhaust system and the result is an impressive 750 PS which easily outshines the production model with its 385 PS. And visually it was also a big deal, the chassis was optimally adapted for the road and there were also 22 inch chrome rims with road tires for optimal traction. And the body has also been significantly modified, the typical Shelby stripes as well as a new front apron, a new rear apron, side skirts, a beefy bonnet with power domes & air vents and an aggressive grille ensure an even more massive appearance.
And the interior is also new because Shelby upgrades the cabin with a new leather interior and a Shelby badge, as well as various lettering, make the exclusive difference. If you want to buy a Shelby Super Snake based on the Ford F-150 you need at least 96,880 dollars and you have to hurry because Shelby only plans to build 150 pieces.
