Somewhere between that Goliath 6 × 6 and the F-150 Heritage Edition had tuner Hennessey performance apparently still time for the new 2019 VelociRaptor. This was somehow finished on time for the SEMA Auto Show and was able to celebrate its official premiere there. The most important thing first - the very strong, but also repeatedly smiled at, Ecoboost V6 has been thrown out and a five-liter V8 from Ford is now doing its job in the mighty pickup. The engine is of course not in series production but comes with a 2,9-liter supercharger, modified intake, new injection nozzles, an air-water intercooler and other minor changes to strong 758 hp. Fired this way, the Hennessey Velociraptor V8 flies to 4,1 km / h in just 100 seconds and thus leaves many an athlete behind.

And of course, in keeping with one's status, this also shows with a huge appearance. Hennessey has given the Raptor a completely new metal bumper at the front, including additional LED lights on the right and left and a large LED bar in the middle. And a massive bull catcher is also integrated and protects the front. The component also bears the “Velociraptor” logo. And the Raptor has also been given an apron that has been reduced to the essentials at the rear. Another highlight besides the engine conversion is definitely the completely changed chassis. A stage 2 off-road chassis was installed here, which provides a 6-inch lift and a huge set of wheels. Specifically, there are in-house 20 inch aluminum rims in matt black that are equipped with BF Goodrich KM03 off-road tires in kingsize format.

Apart from the right / left sports exhaust system with black tailpipes and various Hennessey / Raptor logos, that was it on the outside. Inside, as always, there are some special badges, headrests with the tuner's logo and of course the consecutive numbering badge. And this is also necessary because Hennessey is limiting the new Raptor to 100 pieces at a price of at least $ 147.950. If we receive more information about the 2019 Raptor from Hennessey in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report.
