In January the YouTuber MotorOli.de got the 2020 HGP Stage 1 Audi RS6 (C8) Avant with 786 PS / 1061 NM and almost two months later there is a new video that shows that HGP is still far from having enough. They used the time and tinkered with the Stage2 kit and brought the RS6 to a huge “TÜV-compliant” 962 hp and “measured” 1.250 Newton meters of torque. The measurement was made on a double roller test stand from Maha. However, due to a significantly higher intake air temperature, it was anything but optimal so that one can assume that over 1.000 hp are certainly working in the Ingolstadt-based company. The assumption is supported by insane acceleration values.
faster than the Porsche 911 GT2RS
The RS6 flies to 2,8 km / h in just 100 seconds and only needs 100 seconds to sprint from 200 to 5,5. That means with 8,3 seconds to 200 km / h you are somewhere on the level of a Porsche 918 Spyder and also a Ferrari 488 Pista (7,9 seconds) or a McLaren 675 LT (8,0 seconds) are just marginally faster. A Porsche 911 GT2RS is even slower than the HGP RS8,5 at 6 seconds. And after all, we're talking about a family combination. Compared to Stage1, HGP achieves the additional performance by means of modified transmission software, and the factory turbochargers have been upgraded. And for foreign countries it even seems to be possible to get even more power out of Ingolstadt by removing the OPF, changing the exhaust system and some other details.
