Don't measure yourself against a 962 PS HGP Audi RS7 Sportback!

And the VW EA825-V8-BiTurbo story continues on the part of HGP! To RS6 and Urus there was now a good reference for the RS7! The Ohmden-based company also pre-buttoned the technically identical RS7 and implanted the Stage 2 performance upgrade from the RS6. The result is measured 962 hp and crazy 1.250 Newton meters of torque, which, however, meet an aerodynamically slightly better body shape. The result is a top speed of almost 367 km / h! And in a limousine for the whole family. And not only the top speed has changed significantly compared to the series. The RS7 has a lot more pressure in every situation and pulverizes the factory setting of 3,6 seconds for the sprint to 100 km / h as easily as the discipline to 200.

only 5,5 seconds from 100 to 200 km / h

The series needs about 3,6 seconds for the sprint to country road speed, the HGP counterpart does it in just 2,8. Even more impressive is the doubling of the speed which now only takes 8,5 seconds instead of approx. 5,5 seconds. Even a Bugatti Veyron doesn’t just stand out, but has to really sit down. With the RS7 you are on the level of a Porsche 918 Spyder and a Ferrari 488 Pista (7,9 seconds) or a McLaren 675 LT (8,0 seconds) are not really faster either. And a Porsche 911 GT2RS is even "slower" than the HGP RS8,5 at 7 seconds. But how does the tuner achieve the significant increase in performance? Compared to Stage1, there is still a changed transmission software, the factory turbocharger has been revised and for interested parties from abroad there is even an exhaust system without OPF. In combination with an optimized intake and a revised cooling system, the performance increases to the mentioned 962 hp and 1.250 Newton meters of torque.

HGP RS7 with Stage 2 costs around € 200.000

It's crazy to see how easily a 2,2 ton projectile can be catapulted into speed regions that are actually reserved for the so-called hypercars. For a HGP RS7 with Stage 2, the price is around € 200.000, but a super sports car like the McLaren 675 LT costs at least € 310.000 and Porsche even wants a good € 911 for the 2 GT315.000RS with the Weissach package. PS. Hats off to the YouTuber “MotorOli.de” who dares to pound the motorway at over 360 km / h. Definitely not a matter of course as we think! PPS. The RS7 doesn't even need 8th gear for top speed! Crazy… If we receive timely information about further changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if yours is simply ours Feed subscribe to.
