HGP has pre-buttoned the new Porsche Panamera GTS (971 / G2). Equipped ex works with 460 PS & 620 Nm (basically a throttled Panamera Turbo VW EA825 engine) show the engine after the Software Upgrade from HGP to what he is capable of. Incredible 665 PS and just 800 NM torque shakes the V8 from the sleeve. Thus, the Zuffenhausener manages in 3 seconds at 100 km / h (according to HGP sometimes even in 2,9 seconds) and is therefore almost half a second faster than the 680 PS & 850 NM strong Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid top model. The difference is even clearer to 200 km / h, where the HGP Panamera GTS takes a whopping 1,5 seconds from the E-Hybrid. He manages this discipline in 10,2 seconds compared to the 11,7 seconds of the hybrid. How does that actually with less horsepower and less torque?

The decisive factor is that Empty weight, After adjustment for equipment, the variant with electric motor weighs well over 300 kilograms more. This not only makes itself felt straight ahead but also on the racetrack. Less weight is always good! By the way, because this engine also in the group brother Bentley Bentayga and in the Lamborghini Governance The increase in performance is also transferable to these models. In fact, HGP can even claim that they can not even claim 2019 RS6 Avant (C8 / 4K) chip to be able to. This will most likely get the EA825-V8-BiTurbo with some additional horsepower. This may also apply to an RS Q8 or the new A8 S8. We are curious ... If we receive timely information, there is of course an update for this report.
