Tuner HGP has made the brand new Cupra Ateca with a 2.0 liter TSI turbo gasoline engine (Euro 6d-TEMP). The first model of the brand new Cupra brand already delivers a proud 300 PS & 400 NM ex works, but thanks to HGP this value goes up to a hefty 480 PS. The conversion is of course in keeping with the times, what does the Otto particle filter (OPF) mean? with the increase in performance is retained. As is well known, the VW EA888 engine with the legally required OPF particle filter is now also used in the VW Golf, Passat, Arteon & Co., and these vehicles can also be equipped with the TÜV-compliant performance kit in a timely manner. The engine comes with two small particle filters ex works, but HGP replaces one of them with a larger one.

In addition, there is a highly coated 150 mm steel catalytic converter (series: 130 mm) and the already known changes in the form of a new turbocharger with a reinforced trunk group, a K&N air filter insert with a modified air supply or the enlarged boost pressure pipe. Due to the significantly lower curb weight, the Cupra Ateca suddenly moves into the performance region of a BMW X5M or Mercedes GLE63 AMG, which is of course an announcement. If we receive more information in a timely manner, there will of course be an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
