As one of the first tuners ever, the team of HGP Turbonachrüstung GmbH from Ohmden (Municipality in the district of Esslingen / Baden-Württemberg) an increase in performance for the brand new 2020 Audi RS6 (C8) Avant at the start. Compared to the C7 predecessor, Audi has developed the engine further and added a mild hybrid system. The 4,0-liter V8 BiTurbo with 441 kW / 600 PS and 800 NM provides powerful propulsion from the factory and allows the 2,2-ton station wagon to accelerate to 3,6 km / h in just 100 seconds. And if you wish, you can do that Dynamic package plus package even to a top speed of 305 km / h. But tuner HGP is of course not enough and so you have one Stage 1 Tuning consisting of chip tuning software, modified air filter and significantly enlarged and greatly optimized suction, including TÜV approval, developed for the Ingolstadt steam hammer.

And once again Youtuber “MotorOli.de” had the opportunity to “experience” the result. And the acceleration data of the tuned RS6 with the performance increase from HGP are once again impressive. The acceleration to 100 km / h drops to an insane 3,1 seconds and the 200 mark is broken only 6,7 seconds later. That means that you have shortened the sprint to country road speed by half a second. With such a vehicle, this is anything but a matter of course! The RS6 therefore remains below the magical 200-second mark during the sprint to 10 km / h and is therefore on the level of a Porsche 911 Turbo S (991.2), a GT2 RS and also a McLaren MP4-12C or a Koenigsegg CCR are not worth mentioning more quickly. It's hard to imagine what the planned Stage 2 or Stage 3 will do.

Stage 2 and Stage 3 are being planned

We are pretty sure that the third stage of expansion will be somewhere in the range of 1.000 to 1.050 hp. And there is already some information. Stage 2 will be the factory turbocharger with new components (Compressor housing, shafts etc.) and Stage 3 will make the unpopular OPF particle filter disappear, but is only intended for use abroad. We are excited if MotorOli.de will try out the further expansion stages and in particular the acceleration values and the soundscape of the V8 biturbo will of course be in focus. If we get the first information about this, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
