HKS Co. Ltd. is known worldwide as a car tuning company based in Japan for sometimes crazy tuning projects. Shortly after the launch of the A90 model generation, you had a purebred Race car with widebody kit and 800 HP 2JZ engine presented and was one of the first (if not THE first) Tuner in general, who dealt so extensively with the resurrection of the legend. And now the company has completed another vehicle for the Tokyo Auto Salon (Friday, January 10 to Sunday, January 12, 2020 in Chiba) can be admired from tomorrow. Forged composite carbon foiling
The front apron received a large front spoiler with an integrated splitter and the Forged Composite Carbon is particularly striking foiling, which comes into its own particularly well in combination with the pearly white paintwork. The striking look is also used on the mirror caps, the roof and, of course, on the huge rear diffuser from HKS. However, the brutal fender flares all around and the ducktail spoiler lip on the tailgate are not wrapped in deceptively real carbon fiber. But the fat fenders in particular make the conversion what it is, as they widen the Supra by a whopping 90 mm. They are attached with exposed screw connections and give the Japanese a completely new look.

And if you look closely, you will see that all attachments are provided with special rubber seals, which means an increase in quality compared to many other providers. And of course the huge wheel arches also need an adequate set of wheels. The choice fell on apple-candy-red (or Candy red) painted 20 inch forged wheels of the type ADVAN Racing R6 which are equipped with huge 255/35 and 305/30 slippers. And a Hipermax-coilover (TAS2020SPL) that was set particularly low, especially with regard to the upcoming auto show. The visual changes are rounded off with an in-house sports exhaust system that ends in the striking diffuser with two large blue-burnt tailpipes.

And the Sports exhaust system is linked to the "still" standard B58 BMW engine that the Supra shares with the G29 Z4. But here too, a performance upgrade from HKS will soon be available. There is also a change in the cabin. Here you have the factory Sports Seats exchanged with electric adjustment for ultra-light Bride Low Max seats, which not only look extremely good, but above all are significantly lighter than the series.
