In the wake of the growing popularity of Mercedes-Benz models in the tuning scene, many new Mercedes tuners are stirring up the scene and trying to snatch a large piece of the cake away from long-established tuning companies such as Brabus or Lorinser. One of these tuners is the Hofele company, which does not specialize in riot tuning, but in serious and discreet refinement of Mercedes models. Thus, the company addresses less young car influencers and car posers, but dignified and solvent customers who want to individualize their star in the most perfect way possible in order to stand out from the crowd. The Donzdorfer's latest project is the Hofele HGLE Coupé, which is based on the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupé and shines with perfect individualization inside and out.

With its very discreet two-tone paintwork and an elegant waterfall grill, which shelves the star and replaces it with the typical Hofele "H", this Benz looks solid, noble and high-quality, and is reminiscent of the good old days. The elegant Hofele design is completed by the special Mythos rims in 22-inch format, which have a concave, multi-spoke design and fit perfectly into the design of the new GLE Coupé. In addition, the design manufacturer added additional chrome accents, which, in contrast to the black add-on parts, which are installed by many Mercedes tuners, appear pleasantly discreet, noble and reserved. Hofele thus illustrates its special position in the tuning segment, as one does not create cars for extroverted car posers, but relies on reserved understatement. This also appeals to a completely different clientele than, for example, the house tuner AMG, which with its martial design ensures that young car fans in particular besiege the showrooms of the brand with the star. A (brand-open) tuning meeting would not really be the terrain on which a potential owner of a Hofele Mercedes would feel comfortable, even if he might get a lot of admiration for his vehicle there.
In the interior there is the full repertoire!
As with all models from Hofele Design GmbH, the interior of the Hofele HGLE Coupé has also been modified in a very noble and at the same time sporty way. Seats and door panels are covered with a special “HOFELE Sport Design” leather with unique perforations and a special embroidery pattern. There are also additional Alcantara elements on the seats, which are kept in the color combination red-black.
The engine remained unchanged.
The drive source of the noble SUV coupé is a 3-liter in-line six-cylinder, which runs on petrol and also offers a 48V on-board network, and thus has a mild hybrid system. The performance data generated by the twin-turbo engine are 435 hp and 520 Newton meters of maximum torque. All-wheel drive is standard, and power is transmitted via a new automatic transmission with gearshift paddles on the steering wheel. Equipped in this way, it goes from 5,3 to 0 km / h in a brisk 100 seconds, and the top speed is electronically sealed 250 kilometers per hour. This means that you can also take a brisk stretch of the motorway if the traffic allows it.
