A few days ago (to the 2020 Tokyo Motor Show) Honda has announced that it will launch the Civic Type R with a facelift. New are now two-piece brake discs and blocks, improved dampers and stiffer suspension bushes, a new Alcantara steering wheel, a modified one shift knob with shortened switching paths and an active sound control. It models the engine sound in the interior differently depending on the selected drive program. Visually, however, apart from a new paint color and slightly enlarged cooling openings, everything remains the same. What do you want to change there? After all, there are already 20-inch models from the factory, a massive rear spoiler, hard lines, corners and edges and thus particularly violent aggressiveness! Strictly speaking, there are even 2 body kits that are presented on both the blue and the red vehicle. Both variants come with fender flares all around making the Civic a wide-body version. The blue vehicle even got a completely new front and rear apron, while the red variant is only equipped with an additional spoiler / diffuser. The result is enormous in both cases and is supported by a new bonnet Power Dome and additional air openings are tightened even further. The side skirts are apparently identical on both vehicles and a set of new exterior mirrors in the style of the BMW M4 has also been installed. Apart from the widening in the rear area, there is also a big difference in the apron on both vehicles. While the blue version is based on a variant that comes with a sports exhaust system with two tailpipes on the right and left, the red look of the factory Civic with the central three tailpipes has been preserved.

Here, too, the blue Civic only uses a completely new apron while the red one is only used Heckschürzenansatz was installed. No matter which variant you choose, both make for a really brutal sight.
