It's been seven years since General Motors ceased production of the last Hummer in the form of the H3 and made the brand disappear into oblivion. Of course, the first model in the form of the H1, which was produced from 1992-2006, is absolutely unforgettable! It is also the most purist of all generations and was technically largely identical to the HMMWV military vehicle. And the guys from MC Customs from Miami now had just such an extreme vehicle on site and were allowed to go out and about. Unfortunately, the company only posted the pictures, but did not provide any information about the changes. So we can only reproduce what we can see in the photos and that's not necessarily a lot. However, you can clearly see “10” LED light strips that have been attached all around. The first bar is in front of the radiator grille and four more above the windshield on the roof, two light bars were also attached to the side of the roof racks and a last one to the rear edge of the roof. I have no idea whether the standard alternator can do all of this or whether modifications have also been made here 😀 at least it should not be a good idea in the standard state to leave the vehicle only with the ignition activated and full lighting.
The H1 also got a set of new alloy wheels including huge Kumho off-road tires and the side sills should also be retrofitted. And a lot has been done inside too, for example the entire dashboard is covered with leather and a new Alpine sound system, including a large LCD display, was installed. In connection with completely new upholstered seats and a headliner with Alcantara, there is almost a living room flair in the huge Ami. The extreme center console between the seats is always impressive and in some places has more work surface available than some worktop in a fitted kitchen. A spectacular vehicle that with this combination is unlikely to be stopped, especially off-road, and with the built-in LED light strips it provides more "sun" than a football stadium. If we do get some information about the modifications to the H1, there is of course, as always, an update for this report. These are the changes to the Hummer H1:
- 10 LED light strips all around (radiator grille, above the windscreen, at the side of the roof racks, rear roof edge)
- new alloy wheels including Kumho offroad tires
- side sills, rear bumper new, front bumper new
- Dashboard covered with leather, new upholstered seats, headliner with Alcantara etc.
- Alpine sound system including LCD display & subwoofer etc.
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
