It was a good year ago that Citroën presented the third generation of the C29 on June 2016, 3 in Paris. Since January of this year it has been officially available from dealers and the difference between the honest 2nd generation and the spherical model of the 1st generation is huge. It's hard to believe that it shares the platform with the visually rather boring Peugeot 208. The highlight of the C3 are the 36 different color combinations ex works, which can be found with lacquered accents on the fog lights, the exterior mirrors, the roof or the massive airbumps on the doors. Visually, the current C3 definitely looks a lot more and it would be a miracle if it doesn't become a success for Citroën. H&R already has sport springs in its range for the new edition. You leave the C3 top model (Example vehicle: C3 Pure Tech 110) with 110 PS look much sportier than the series counterparts.
But not only the look is improved, but also the driving pleasure. The lowering by up to 35 millimeters at the front and rear gives the C3 almost something like a kart feeling. This is due to a lower center of gravity and the now firmer suspension, which provides more stability in fast corners. The improved steering behavior gives the driver the feeling that he can literally throw the car around the corner. The look is improved by the fact that the optional 17-inch "Cross Black" wheels fit perfectly in the wheel arch and the little French no longer looks like an SUV. It is also very important to H&R that suitability for everyday use and safety are maintained. This is even available in writing by means of a TÜV certificate. The Trak + wheel spacers in various dimensions from 10 to 40 mm per axle also bring the last millimeter in the wheel arch.
