With a pop-up roof: the Hyundai Staria Lounge Camper!

Hyundai has developed an attractive minibus with the Staria. The family van has a futuristic design and has been launched in various configurations over the last year. These would be versions with 2 to 11 seats, a commercial vehicle variant and also a school bus that can transport up to 15 people. In South Korea, this school bus has already been given the German name "Kinder". And currently Hyundai even has the model in Korea as a kind Caravan presents. Depending on the number of seats he is as Campers 4 and campers 11 available. The model has a electrically foldable roof tent and an inflatable bed for additional sleeping space. Due to its boxy size, the camper offers a large cabin, which is equipped with a number of amenities. This includes one 36 liter refrigerator, a kitchen sink with a faucet, one folding table as well as built-in side shelves. On the back of the camper there is also the possibility of a showerhead to connect. There is also one there Steckdose to the power supply.

By the mosquito net the large tailgate can remain open in the summer without bugs getting inside. Two people can sleep comfortably. An awning system further increases versatility. In terms of price, the Camper 11 variant is quite cheap at just over 37.000 euros at the current exchange rate. Expect to pay around 4 euros for the more luxurious Camper 51.500. There are also a lot of options that can drive up the final price. Of the all wheel drive (HTRAC) costs extra and even more comfort as well. There are different options (comfort, convenience, camping). Something the Hyundai Staria is still missing is one electric version. Because the avant-garde design is perfectly made for an emission-free solution. Currently, the camper is only available in Europe with a 2,2-liter turbo diesel four-cylinder. In other parts of the world there are also other engine variants. About the 3,5 liter V6 petrol engine and LPG version.
