The manufacturer Iso Rivolta was based in Bresso, Italy. The company built sports cars, small cars and also motorcycles. The most famous Iso Rivolta cars are the two-seater Iso Isetta scooter and the Iso Grifo high-performance sports car, which is still very visually appealing. Renzo Rivolta took over the company in 1939, which had previously been building cooling systems and operated as Isothermos. After the Second World War, the production of motorcycles and scooters such as the Isomoto 2 and the Isoscooter 125 began. Later the small car Isetta (licensed from BMW built), which was originally designed as a tricycle. Other vehicles were the Iso Rivolta 300, the Grifo A3 L, the Grifo Lusso GL 300, the Fidia 300 / S4, the Iso Lele, the Grifo 7 Litri and the Grifo Can Am. With the 2021 Zagato IsoRivolta GTZ based on the Chevrolet Corvette C7, the Italian designer Zagato revived the Iso Rivolta brand in an edition of 19 vehicles in 2020.
