The W222 Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG 4Matic + does not necessarily belong to the category "under motorized luxury automobile". Since the summer (07/2017) of last year, the facelift has been available with the new M 177 DE 40 AL - V8-BiTurbo and the fabulous 612 PS & 900 NM torque distributed to all four wheels. It catapults the flagship to 3,5 km / h in just 100 seconds, and with the AMG Driver's Package, this propulsion is continued uninterrupted up to 300 km / h. But even here there is still a lot of room for improvement in terms of tuning and customization.

And not only the performance but also the aerodynamics of the premium vehicle seem to have not yet been fully exhausted and perfected. At least if you can believe the IMSA team. The tuner from Brüggen in the Lower Rhine region has chosen the Stuttgart one and shows us his interpretation of the S-Class. First of all, the V8 can do more, much more! IMSA squeezes an impressive 720 hp out of the V8-BiTurbo and this is where the new type designation "IMSA S720" comes from.

But let's start with the optics. IMSA installs a high-quality and weight-saving aerodynamic package made of carbon that only becomes apparent at second glance. The body kit consists of special air intakes (IMSA Air-Intakes), new side skirts, a rear diffuser (also houses a sports exhaust system), a spoiler lip for the tailgate and a discreet front spoiler for the AMG front bumper. And a new wheel set is also part of the tuning package. IMSA installs an in-house wheel set in the format 9 × 21 inches with 255/35 slippers on the front axle and wide 10,5 × 21 inches including 295/30 tires at the rear and speaks of noticeably increasing the sportiness of the S-Class.

But now "Butter with the fish“- it's about increasing performance. The IMSA S63 AMG S-Class shows off a crazy 720 PS and a maximum torque of 990 Nm and thus ensures even better performance compared to the series. We hope that we will soon be able to give you the first figures for the acceleration values ​​because unfortunately we have nothing to do with this at the moment.   • Lowering (sports springs, coil springs, sports suspension, coilover suspension, with standard air suspension possibly by adjusting the electronics - more information is not available)
