iND Distribution +600 HP BMW M2 (F87) Competition Coupe!

The Team of iND distribution has pre-buttoned a BMW M2 (F87) Competition Coupe and pulled out all the stops! The limited special model was equipped with almost all components from the in-house repertoire and looks phenomenally aggressive. Anyone interested in a modern BMW that was designed as an absolute driver's car cannot ignore the M2 Performance since 2018. The compact athlete simply has everything that is needed in this segment! Six-cylinder BiTurbo front engine, on request a manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. What else do you want? For us, it is currently the only BMW M vehicle that actually offers real M thrills. And of course there are always people for whom even the heavily modified and limited M2 from the factory is not enough. People who want the ultimate changes for use on the racetrack. And the owner of this M2 was apparently someone like that. Because he commissioned iND Distribution to equip the M2 with a comprehensive package of aerodynamic components and also to increase the performance significantly.

But let's start with the even more aggressive look compared to the series. The M2 Competition received a carbon bonnet with power dome, there were large carbon gills for the fenders, an additional spoiler lip made of carbon and even carbon canards are now installed on the Munich coupe. There is no doubt that the front of this M2 Competition now generates significantly more contact pressure than that of the series. And of course there were also matching components on the sides and especially on the rear. The side section is underlined by carbon sill swords and at the rear the M2 shows itself with a fixed carbon rear wing in XXL format. There was also a small carbon spoiler lip and the rear end is rounded off with a powerful carbon diffuser that houses new tailpipes. Even the wheelset has been replaced and a significant lowering of the chassis has been organized. The set-up looks extremely successful and should easily get a tenth or two out on the racetrack. And so that the M2 Competition is really fun, the S55B30 six-cylinder under the beefy hood really got on the collar.

The changes made make the series engine look almost pale. Because according to the test sheet, this M2 now makes an insane 606 PS and 791 NM torque. Compared to the 410 PS and 550 NM of the series, this is a crazy premium. Even the 450 hp Top model M2 CS makes this vehicle look old. Unfortunately, we are not aware of any information on how to increase performance. However, we assume that new turbochargers, a downpipe, a complete sports exhaust system, a changed intake (you can see an Eventuri Air-Intake-System) and a special chip tuning are definitely responsible for the growth. And finally ... An unbelievable vehicle that can be dangerous for some super athletes on the race track! If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report.
