The classic Land Rover Range Rover was launched in 1969 and was initially only sold as a two-door model. And such a first-generation Range Rover is the basis of a new Restomod project from the British tuning company reversed. The conversion should even be fully road legal and already completely finished and ready for delivery to the new owner. 2-3 virtual pictures should show what the unique piece looks like. The range is driven by a Tesla E System with 80 kWh battery pack and electric drive unit. The classic has also been equipped with a new gearbox, a special oil pump and a differential lock and has a top performance of 450 PS and 600 Nm Torque.

The Tesla powertrain is said to ensure a 0-100 km/h sprint time of around 5 seconds and all-wheel drive is also said to be on board. In addition, the vehicle is fully restored and the original axles have been upgraded to withstand the significant increase in performance. And also new are the Alcon sports brakes and a special chassis for the road. The latter includes adjustable shock absorbers, different anti-roll bars and 25 percent stiffer springs. Incidentally, Inverted promises a range of up to 300 km on one charge, depending on the conditions of course. Charging at home is possible via a 6,6 kW onboard charger and there is also a CCS connection that transfers up to 100 kW charging power to a fast charging station. The latter should bring the battery from 35 to 20 percent in about 80 minutes.
over a quarter of a million euros is due
Visually, however, one has clearly held back. Aside from a few modern touches like LED headlights, the rest is standard. And it's similar in the interior, but there are now higher-quality materials and additional technical gimmicks. Incidentally, prices in Great Britain start at a staggering £225.000 plus tax (approx. €254.300). As far as we know, Inverted converts two- and four-door models and plans to the maximum 6 vehicles per year to finish. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use our Feed subscribe to.
