Jaguar relies on the color black for the latest special edition of the F-TYPE - and gives its perfectly proportioned F-TYPE sports car series, which has won over 180 design awards, a new highlight: the F-TYPE R-DYNAMIC Black. Driven by the well-known four- and eight-cylinder engines with 221 kW (300 PS) * and 221 kW (450 PS) *, the R-DYNAMIC Black Coupés and Cabriolets emphasize the purism and presence of the ultimate Jaguar sports car in a very special way In addition to the Black Pack, there is also a high-gloss black lacquered 5-spoke rim ("Style 5039") in 20-inch format, which Jaguar offers exclusively in F-TYPE R-DYNAMIC Black. It is perfectly complemented by the metallic colors Santorini Black, Eiger Gray and Firenze Red. In the interior, too, subtle and lovingly crafted details enhance the ambience of luxury and sportiness.

The "1 + 1" cab, which is consistently tailored to the driver, envelops the occupants in lavish and luxurious materials. The slim contoured performance seats are 12-way adjustable and are made of Windsor leather in Ebony with contrasting stitching in Light Oyster or - as a sportier theme - in Mars Red with the interior in the same shade of red.

The subtle details of the interior include a beautifully elaborated stitch pattern based on the Jaguar Heritage monogram, which can be found in the door panels as well as the seats. The monogram motif also appears embossed in the premium velor edging of the 12,3 '' configurable driver display. Further refinements include steering wheel gearshift paddles made of satined aluminum, a roof lining in premium velor in Ebony (Cabriolet only A-pillar) and illuminated door sills with Jaguar lettering.

The well-known powerful, sophisticated and extremely responsive engines of the F-TYPE R-DYNAMIC Black are coupled with the 8-speed Quickshift automatic transmission. As the name suggests, it allows you to change gears manually using the steering wheel paddles or the “Sportshift” lever on the center console

The version with 221 kW (300 PS) * two-liter turbo gasoline engine from the Ingenium engine series comes exclusively with rear-wheel drive and reaches its maximum torque of 400 Nm at 1500 rpm. The four-cylinder delivers the performance values ​​expected from a Jaguar: 0-100 km / h in 5,7 seconds and a top speed of 250 km / h.

The supercharged 5,0-liter V8 with 331 kW (450 PS) * sends its 2500 Nm, which is active at 580 rpm, either to the rear wheels or - supported by the Intelligent Drive Line DYNAMICs (IDD) control system - to both Axes. In both cases, an active limited-slip differential (rear) with torque vectoring by braking increases traction. With its help, too, the sprint to the 100 km / h mark succeeds in just 4,6 seconds; at a top speed of 285 km / h.

For a really extraordinary performance in all weather and road conditions, the F-TYPE R is still in the program for the new model year. Armed exclusively with all-wheel drive, it reduces the 423-575 km / h value to just 700 seconds with 0 kW (100 PS) * and a maximum of 3,7 Nm; the top speed is electronically limited to 300 km / h.

The F-TYPE R and the P450 models are factory-fitted with the sports suspension with the Adaptive DYNAMIC system from Jaguar. Using electronically controlled and continuously variable damper rates, both driving comfort and handling at high speeds are optimized. At the same time, the configurable dynamic mode enables individual setting of the chassis hardness, the steering assistance, the throttle valve position and the switching points of the automatic. All F-TYPE with the four-cylinder engine and 221 kW (300 PS) * use finely tuned mono-tube dampers for a very unique comfort and handling character.

he F-TYPE R-DYNAMIC Black special edition can be ordered now and starts at 76.000 euros for the coupé and 82.750 euros for the convertible. The starting price for the F-TYPE series is 64.250 euros.
