1952 Jaguar XK120 electric mod by Lunaz Design!

The specialists at Lunaz design from Silverstone have their latest electromod project presented. And based on a beautiful Jaguar XK120. Of course, the wildcat from the 50s is complete in advance restauriert (bare metal restoration) and only then converted to the environmentally friendly electric drive. The basis was an XK120 from 1952, which after the restoration in obsidian blue shines. And of course there are many Chrome details Don't forget the bumpers, the radiator grille, the window frames, the mirrors and even the spoked rims. And also the Cabin is now in dream state!

The noble one Burr Walnut precious wood on the dashboard and in the doors is finished with a satin finish Painting covered and the classic was also upgraded with a new carpet made from old nylon fishing nets. Other parts of the Cabin are made from recycled plastics. Furthermore, the seats with a high-quality blue Cloth covered and the frame is made of recyclable aluminum. And as a small detail, the fabric from the seats has been used to create a bespoke pair Shoes by Arthur Sleep, which were presented to the owner of the XK120 with his vehicle. Further in the cabin there was a modern one Infotainment touchscreen under the analog dials in the center console, which scores with Apple CarPlay connectivity.

But the biggest change is of course under the hood. Because that's where the old 3,4-liter XK engine was up against the modular one EV powertrain exchanged by Lunaz. The classic is now a completely emission-free vehicle. Unfortunately, Lunaz has not yet announced any performance data or the possible range of the electric mod. That's why we know him Price. And as expected, it's intense. The Jaguar XK120 from Lunaz starts at £350.000 (approx. €407.000) before tax. Incidentally, the vehicle in the pictures was handed over to the owner after it had premiered at the concours on Savile Row in London.

By the way, Lunaz also provides EV conversions for other classic vehicles like the Aston Martin DB6 or the Bentley S3 Continental Flying Spur.
