Transformed - Jaguar XKR 2003 converted to a 1930 Oldi!

Hard to believe but this beautiful oldi was once a rocked Jaguar XKR built in 2003! But only until the day when Graham Slater from Wakefield in West Yorkshire decided to convert the British to give his son with Down syndrome a financially carefree future. The "Street Machine"Called mixture of Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic Coupé, a few visible Jaguar body parts and a lot of own ideas is estimated to be worth around € 143.000 and enable the child a financially carefree future. The body was created completely independently in over 3 years of work with lots of assembly foam (54 cans) and 6 layers of fiberglass are applied over it.

with wood, cord and construction foam ...

After the extremely extensive preparatory work was completed, there was a beautiful paint job by Color Cube Automotive from Huddersfield in the noble wine red. However, all the changes together devoured almost € 60.000 plus the approximately € 8.400 from the vehicle. But the result is more than impressive. New details can be seen from every direction and we believe that some Lincoln Zephyr and a few Porsche lines have also been incorporated. Consciously or unconsciously? We do not know it! There is also a closed set of aluminum rims in the Moon cap design and something has also changed in the cabin. Basically everything from the Jaguar XKR can still be seen here, but the dashboard painted in body color and the elaborate leather interior as well as the new central control unit also add a touch of individuality.

However, under the hood everything is as it left the Jaguar factory. There are also no reasons for changes. After all, a 4,2-liter V8 is installed which still allows a top speed of 250 km / h. The rebuilt Jaguar XKR 2003 in the style of a 1930s classic car shows impressively what can be achieved with technical expertise, a very specific idea and the irrepressible love for your own child. We hope that Graham can sell the vehicle at the desired price and that the plan will work. If we receive more information on the conversion or technical changes compared to the XKR base vehicle in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report.
