Actually has Jeep so far no model in the family-sized portfolio for the US market. At least not as long as that new Grand Wagoneer is not officially available. But Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan now has such a vehicle. He is a well-known car collector with a myriad collection of different off-road vehicles and has gone to great lengths to convert a Jeep Wrangler to suit his needs. The following pictures show how much work went into modifying a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon to make it suitable for up to six people. The project started with extensive work on the ladder frame chassis, which now appears to be longer than that of the Gladiator pickup. The rear doors of the JLU and JT also differ. Visually, the hinges are adapted to those of the front doors. The side window, the rear side panels, the removable hardtop and even the rear roll bar have been completely modified to fit the straightened Wrangler to fit. The most surprising thing about the unique Wrangler is definitely the third row of seats. It looks like it comes from the factory, but the last row of seats takes up the capacity of the trunk.

the rest seems pretty close to series production

Anyway, it looks really cool! There are three-point seat belts everywhere if things get bumpy and the large spare wheel cover in its original size can still be seen at the rear. The five-spoke rims with the 285/70 x 17 tires seem to be standard and the drive is still a secret. In the United Arab Emirates, the Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon comes standard with the 3,6-liter Pentastar V6, an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Rock-Trac 4 × 4 system, high-performance axles with Tru-Lok differentials and a 4,10 Gearbox equipped. We think this is still the case. The six-cylinder delivers 289 hp and 353 Nm of torque and shouldn't really have any problems with the additional weight of the extended body. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
