Suzuki Jimny NEXT limited edition pickup conversion by Z.Mode!

This Suzuki Jimny has been transformed into a pickup truck with a turbocharger under the hood by Italian company Z.Mode. The vehicle from the pictures should remain unique, but Z.Mode offers the Jimny NEXT pickup conversion in a limited edition of 22 pieces. The inspiration for the project came from the Suzuki Samurai, with the Jimny Next not having an extended rear overhang, keeping it as compact as the original. The off-road capability of the 4×4 is enhanced by a Chassis with 75 mm additional ground clearance optimized and another 25 mm come through the Off-road tires to. Differential protection is also installed, there were heavy-duty drive shafts and a removable anti-roll bar. Visually, the Jimny Next Pickup retains the original body, except for the rear part of the roof, which has been shortened. The sheet metal has been changed to look like a production vehicle and the loading area is lined with an impact-resistant and UV-resistant ABS/ASA plastic mixture.

To increase the rigidity, Z.Mode even installed one Roll bar behind the seats, which is connected to the bulkhead, the vehicle floor and the ladder frame. And the pickup can also be used with a intake snorkelto winch, strainers, LED lights, Stickers and several 15 inch rims (Steel, alloy and beadlock) can be personalised. The cargo area may be quite small, but it still gives the Jimny more practicality. Incidentally, the one-off creation dubbed the “golden Queen” was built to commemorate Giuseppe Quintavalli, the recently deceased founder of Z.Mode. The car got a special scratch-resistant "gold-black" paint finish, camouflage stickers on the lower part of the doors and on the roof, gold stripes and gold alloy wheels.

At the front, the optional Suzuki grille was installed without the large air vents, and a similar pattern can be seen in the front apron. The interior has been re-upholstered in leather and Alcantara, and gold crowns on the headrests, an aluminum plate and a small figure of the Queen on the dashboard are also featured. And under the hood received a 1,5-liter engine Turbocharger Kitwho have favourited a Garrett T25 turbocharger, new headers, others Injectors and one Intercooler includes.

The result is an increase in power to 170 hp and a torque of 270 Nm, which are still sent to all four wheels via the five-speed manual gearbox. The unique piece can currently be seen at the Mondo Motori 2022 in north-eastern Italy and will also be exhibited at other trade fairs. As already mentioned, however, you can only order the "normal" Z.Mode Jimny and not a copy of the golden Queen. A ready-to-run example of the naturally aspirated Suzuki Jimny Next is said to cost 62.222 euros ($65.693) including the donor vehicle and with modifications.
